Revision as of 06:28, 18 December 2014
< Main Page < Programme < Tutorials
The PostgreSQL Replication tutorial will have a heavy hands-on component which will require preparation by attendees. Those who do not prepare will be unable to participate fully in the tutorial, although they are welcome to attend and watch.
The following will be required:
- A "full service" laptop capable of running VirtualBox or Docker, with at least 2 GB of RAM.
- Installation of VirtualBox/Vagrant or Docker.
- Installation and activation of tutorial materials from the tutorial repository
The tutorial materials above have not yet been updated for the LCA 2015 tutorial. Updated vms/containers will be supplied by January 5.
There will not be time during the tutorial to install or troubleshoot software.
