Bdale and Keith have arranged with the New Zealand Rocketry Association for there to be a launch scheduled on Saturday the 17th, the day after LCA 2015. NZRA is the local chapter of the Tripoli Rocketry Association. You can see the event listed on the NZRA Calendar.

Anyone who has a model rocket they'd like to fly, particularly any of the participants from the LCA Rocketry MiniConf held in Brisbane, is strongly encouraged to join us for the day! Local club members have volunteered to help us arrange transportation to and from the site, a local vendor will be on hand with motors and other necessary supplies that can't be transported in personal luggage, etc.

At least one launch planned by a local club member hopes to go to about 30k feet above ground...
