Organised by Jim Cheetham, the CACert Bof/Assurance session is aiming to be :-
Welcome to the LCA2015 Delegate Wiki hackathon page. We'll be meeting at the Makerspace at Central City Library on Saturday 3-Jan-2015 from 1pm-4pm, to hack on the LCA2015 Delegate Wiki. This will be a single, short burst of unified effort to work on the structure and content of the LCA2015 Delegate Wiki before the conference starts.

* Introduction to the CACert Community
The hackathon is open to any lca delegate, speaker, volunteer, or organiser to participate in, whether you can be there in person or not. <font color="#703931">ᏜᏠᎶᏠᏑ</font> will be at the Makerspace between 1pm and 4pm, and would love to see as many Auckland-based helpers there as possible. We'll also register a temporary IRC channel on FreeNode during the event, called ##linux.conf.au-wiki, along with a Twitter hashtag of #lca2015wiki, which can be used for participants from outside of Auckland to communicate with those physically present at the Makerspace. There will be a computer set up at the Makerspace specifically to watch these channels, which any attendee at the Makerspace can use. newleft

If you wish to become a Member and to get Assured, please consider registering with CACert.org *before* the BoF session, and bringing along pre-printed CAP forms to speed things up. https://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=1 will help to get you started.
There is a shared folder on MEGA.co.nz which has been set up specifically for the hackathon. Certain people have been given full write access to the folder by default. If you think you might need to send a file to the shared folder during the hackathon, please contact <font color="#703931">ᏜᏠᎶᏠᏑ</font> on his talk page.
+

Please only upload files that are relevant to the hackathon. This shared folder should only be used for small text files and images that cannot be uploaded directly to the wiki by participants. It will also contain a shared copy of the maps and floorplans, as they are being worked on.
+
Please remember that CACert requires validation of Identity backed by government-issued documents. Real named need to be used, and represented *in their entirety* by the accompanying document. If your ID lists you as "Joe Q. Bloggs" you cannot use that to assert the identity of "Joe Quentin Bloggs", but you can use it to assert "Joe Bloggs". See https://wiki.cacert.org/PracticeOnNames for more details.

Assurers
Please add to the list below, anything you think we should specifically be working on for the LCA2015 Delegate Wiki during the hackathon. We'll try to cover as much as possible during the event, but may not get around to everything on the list.

* Floorplans for the OGGB building, showing locations of each room, the registration desk, amenities, etc
