Lin Nah will be leaving you info + links here for putting up on the wiki. Yes it is as opposed to doing it myself. Some of them require organising, wording etc. Mostly info + links I already have and so it is a copy + paste without prettying it up. Some will be links to where to find the info. Given that the '''Stardome Planetarium Observatory''' is situated handily close to the University of Auckland venue for LCA2015, I thought we'd organise an Astronomy BoF again this year to complement the Astronomy Miniconf.

== Markets ==

I like markets as they are a good place to find the best NZ local produce (especially the farmers markets).  "Farmers market" in nz means things they sell has to be made/grown within a certain radius of the market's location. They tend to be organic or spray free too. Authenticity http://www.marketground.co.nz/fmnz/35275/

However there's many stalls there that would comply within the NZ farmers market regulations.

< Main Page < Programme < BoF Sessions

Given that the Stardome Planetarium Observatory is situated handily close to the University of Auckland venue for LCA2015, I thought we'd organise an Astronomy BoF again this year to complement the Astronomy Miniconf.

Stardome has a gallery/exhibits, and runs a planetarium show on the summer night sky at 8pm. After the planetarium show, there is telescope viewing available which included amateur-grade telescopes in the courtyard, or the option of viewing through the Zeiss 0.5m telescope for a small extra fee.

Please feel free to update this page to include/suggest other options.

Cheers,

Jessica Smith (Astronomy Miniconf organiser)
